We wanted to share with you the following two pieces of good news:
We are to receive a grant from Kellogg’s of £1,000 to enhance our breakfast provision across both sites and help feed children in the morning.
From September we will be able to collect free breakfast products (bread, crumpets and tea-cakes) from the nearest Warburton’s Depot
Breakfast clubs help with everything from attendance and attainment to alleviating hunger and providing pre-school care. 68 per cent of teachers believe pupils would struggle to concentrate in class without their breakfast club, according to Kellogg’s research.
Part of the Kellogg’s grant will be used to purchase a chest freezer to store the monthly collections from Warburton’s.
