Plant your pants

We are excited to be taking part in a fun and educational outdoor project called “Plant Your Pants!” during the first week back in April.

“Plant Your Pants” is a national soil‑health initiative designed to help children learn about the importance of healthy ecosystems, decomposition, and caring for our environment. The idea is simple:
each class will bury a pair of 100% cotton pants within the school grounds, where they will remain for 8 weeks. 8 weeks later they will dig them up to observe how much has decomposed. This experiment helps children see how active and healthy soil supports natural processes.
