Admission to The Levett School is through the Local Authority who will allocate places through the inclusion panel process or if a child has an EHCP, this can be done via the SEN consultation process. Currently the school is funded to take 90 pupils from Year 2 to 9.
The purpose of such placements is to enable pupils to access their education and therapeutic support to reintegrate back to a mainstream setting to complete their education. In some circumstances, pupils will move on to more permanent, specialist settings. All pupil placements begin with robust assessment and planning procedures which aim to work on an end goal/destination for each, individual pupil.
