  • Maths We believe that Maths is an incredibly important and valuable part of pupil’s development. We also recognise that maths underpins much of our daily lives within the 21st century. More
  • Art Art, craft and design embody some of the highest forms of human creativity. Our high-quality art and design education engages, inspires and challenges pupils. It should equip them with the knowledge and skills to experiment and create their own works of art, craft and design. More
  • Computing At The Levett School we recognise that huge advancements in technology have been made in recent years, and now, more than ever pupils are surrounded by and often immersed in a technological world. More
  • Design & Technology It is the Levett School’s intention through the DT curriculum, that pupils are inspired by engineers, designers, chefs and architects to enable them to create a range of structures, mechanisms, textiles, electrical systems and food products with a real life purpose. More
  • Geography In our geography lessons, we aim to create a culture of positivity and excitement about the ever-changing world around us, using the National Curriculum as a guideline and the current content of our Key Stage 3 curriculum. More
  • History It is the intention to engage every pupil to understand that history is about who we are and why we are the way that history is not just about studying the past but understanding how it can prepare us for the future. More
  • Music It is our intention that every pupil is provided with the opportunity to develop an appreciation and understanding of music, which they can carry with them throughout their lives. More
  • KS2 Science Science has recently undertaken an overhaul with the school undertaking the Primary Science Quality Mark Award. More
  • KS3 Science It is the Levett School’s Intention in science to develop in all pupils’ a lifelong curiosity and interest in the sciences. More
  • Literacy By the time pupils reach us at The Levett School, predictably reading and writing are subject areas pupils disengage and dislike the most. However, we intend to turn that around and to engage our pupils to access writing lessons and to feel proud of their writing ability. More
  • Modern Foreign Languages Our intent at The Levett School is to follow the National Curriculum requirements for the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages. More
  • Physical Education Physical Education is a vital part of our curriculum. It provides all pupils the opportunity to engage in inclusive and active structured lessons, which focus on sporting skills and a development of progression through the schemes of work. More
  • PSHE PSHE is at the core of what we do and enables our pupils to become independent, confident, healthy and responsible members of society, as well as developing the ‘whole child’ intellectually, morally, socially and spiritually. More
  • Religious Education All of our pupils will learn the necessary skills and knowledge in RE to enable them to foster an appreciation of all religions and worldviews, including those adopted by the pupils in our school. More
