Parent Open Day

At The Levett School, we hold Parent and Pupil Review Meetings three times each academic year.

These meetings provide an opportunity for parents/carers, Levett staff and, where appropriate, the pupil’s mainstream setting to review progress, share information and agree the next steps in the pupil’s provision.

The meetings are pupil-centred and focus on the whole child, including:

  • SEND and identified areas of need
  • Relationships, behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Attendance and engagement
  • Academic progress and attainment
  • Progress towards individual targets and outcomes
  • The effectiveness of current provision and any adaptations required
  • Next steps for learning, development and reintegration, where appropriate

Parents/carers will have the opportunity to view examples of their child’s work and discuss their progress with the class teacher.

Meetings should be booked in advance to support effective attendance and ensure that the appropriate professionals are available. Meetings will normally be led by the class teacher and can be held either face-to-face or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
